Halfway

48 days in and the halfway stage has been reached (with a not-hugely-exciting can of Stella while playing poker last night).

Highlights so far include both BrewDog beers for their hoppiness, Meantime IPA as a clean bitter traditional IPA (although at over 7% abv and in a 750ml bottle probably not a realistic session beer) and the slightly darker fuller favoured Late Red.

As more of an ale drinker, old favourite Fuller's Discovery probably remains my top regular beer (a clean, refreshing citrus-y blonde beer) but on the lager front Budvar and newcomer Mythos are very drinkable.

Upcoming highlights currently in the fridge include some Trappist beers and Australian bitters following a trip to Selfridges, and a potential move to a target of 250 beers in a year (pending some consideration of the likely impact on my liver and wallet, and how far the local Sainsbury's range will go).
